A few answers to help you get back to your canvas.

Export an SVG

Open your drawing and choose Export. Use Save to Files to keep a copy, or the sharing option to send it to another app. SVG export is free.

Import a PDF

Use the import control and select your PDF in Files. Choose a page and import quality. Your page becomes a reference image you can draw above on separate layers; it is not automatically converted into editable vector paths.

Save and back up your work

Save your project to continue editing later. Projects are stored locally on your iPad. Keep exported copies of important work in a location you control before deleting the app or changing devices. An SVG export and an editable project serve different purposes: keep the project when you want to return to your layers.

Something not working?

Try closing and reopening the app. If an import fails, try a smaller file or lower PDF import quality. When reporting a problem, include your iPad model, iPadOS version, app version, and the steps that caused it. Only share artwork or files you are comfortable sending.
